We’re Martin and Sanne — the husband & wife duo behind MjS Visuals. We create timeless wedding photos and films that capture the heart and soul of your day, so you can relive the moments, the laughter, and the feelings again and again.

After travelling the world and meeting each other along the way, we discovered a mutual passion for creating photo and video content. Upon returning back to New Zealand, we decided to turn this passion into a career, capturing your special moments in photos and film. Fun fact: we filmed our very first wedding for friends just before the first COVID lockdown — it sparked something in us, and we haven’t looked back since.

We’re now based in Auckland, New Zealand, where we live with our two very spoiled cats and our beautiful baby girl, who joined us earlier this year.

We got married ourselves in 2023 — right in the middle of Cyclone Gabrielle — so we know first-hand that weddings don't always go to plan, and that the best stories often come with a little chaos. (It also means we’re pretty unshakable when it comes to unpredictable wedding days!)

Martin is the technical mind and perfectionist behind the lens — always chasing beautiful light and clean, cinematic edits. He’s our main videographer as well as photographer.
Sanne brings a creative, editorial eye and a Scandinavian sense of calm (and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes). She’s a photographer, occasional video second shooter, and resident admin wiz.

Together, we aim to create work that’s intentional, effortless, and feels like you. We’re here to make sure you have an incredible experience while creating imagery you’ll love for years to come.
